This is a day of nonstop tasting of the best and most favorite foods foods of locals! The day start at 9.30 am in the center of Florence where you wil have your typical Italian breakfast in a local "Bar". In a historic delicatessen shop, dating back to 1885, you will discover all kinds of cold cuts and taste a delicious "Panino Tartufato" , truffles are a Florentine tradition.
During the tour our guide will talk about the history of the most important squares in Florence were in the past Florentines used to buy their food and you will learn about local dishes. At San Lorenzo Central Market, still used by locals for grocery shopping, you will taste balsamic vinegar and esxtra virgin olive oils, crostini and two different wines. At a local "enoteca" (wine shop) you will taste cheese, cold cuts and wines, and learn about their origins.
The tasting will be complete only with a delicious gelato at the best ice cream shop in Florence.
