Cruise the Arno River on board a "Florentine Gondola", the "Barchetto". While sipping a delicious Prosecco as "aperitivo" in a very romantic and unique atmosphere, you will enjoy Florence from a totally different perspective.
There are only 4 original Barchetto, traditional wooden boat, left in Florence and they are conducted by a "barcaiolo". You will get back in time, experience the tradition away from the noise of cars, traffic and crowds.

You will pass by the Uffizi Gallery, pass under Pontevecchio bridge and find out more about the Vasari Corridor. You will then pass by the Santa Trinita bridge and the Palazzo Corsini, for more amazing views from the quiet waters of the Arno River.

Anecdotes and colorful local stories will entertain you during this romantic cruise of Florence.

Itinerary

Tour Route:
You will meet your guide and enjoy a a nice introduction tour as you walk through Piazza Signoria and under the Uffizi Gallery, seeing the Pontevecchio from the bank on your way to the embarcadero.
You will then board the "barchetto" and start your cruise on the gentle waters of the Arno river.
You will enjoy the views of some of the most important spots of Florence while listening to an informative and entertaining commentary and sipping your Aperitivo. The tour is absolutely safe and very enjoyable.
