Feel the vibe of the Central Market of San Lorenzo, with its colored stalls and artisans shops. This is where the Medici Family had its private Chapels, the Medici Chapels and where the town's Basilica of San Lorenzo is located. As every market, it was and still is a very lively local cultural area.
Admire the beauty of the Piazza del Duomo, with its Cathedral and the dome by Brunelleschi, Giotto's Bell-Tower, the Baptistery and its amazing Paradise Doors.
Stroll along narrow Medieval streets where Dante Alighieri, Italy's most important poet who gave birth to the Italian language, used to live and chant the love for his Beatrice.
Feel overwhelmed by the beauty of Piazza Signoria, heart of Renaissance Florence. Palazzo Vecchio, was and is the "civic heart" of Florence.
Next to it, the Uffizi Gallery, the world famuos museum where some of the most important masterpieces of the world are displayed.
Visit the Mercato della Paglia (straw market) where the famous Piglet Fountain is located... don't forget to touch its nose, you'll get rich... or richer! And that is exactly before walking on Ponte Vecchio: the jewels brigde. You will wonder what is more precious: the bridge, the views or the jewels displayed in the ancient shops windows.
Finally, you will reach the wonderful Palazzo Pitti, famous for its history, the beautiful collections of arts and the Italian fashion shows named after it.
The tour will start in the San Lorenzo area, with its lively market and multicolored stalls, where the Medici Chapels and the Basilica di San Lorenzo are located.
We will then proceed to the Duomo and visit its interior. We will admire teh famous dome, the bell tower and the Baptistery from outside.
The tour continues trough the Medieval quarters to the Palazzo del Bargello and to Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery.
We will then walk to the Mercato della Paglia with the famus Piglet Foountain and then walk to Ponte Vecchio.
We will admire spectacular views while crossing the bridge to reach Palazzo Pitti, where the tour ends.
