In 79 a.d., at the beginning of the age of Imperial Rome a violent
eruption of the Vesuvius buried the town of Pompei under ash and lapilli
killing people in thier sleep or while trying to run away.

The town's activities, daily life...all has been crystalized at the
moment of the eruption and still shows the panic felt by the inhabitants
of Pompei.

While walking in Pompei we can still imagine the last moments of life
of the lively town, people trying to run away from death, the homes
suddenly abandoned, and the daily life that made Pompei famous before
August 24th of 19 centuries ago.

We will visit the rich homes of nobles, painted with frescos; public
and religious buildings, shops, restaurants, the forum...and feel that
life has stopped at that very moment, as in a photograph.

Tour Route:
The driver will meet you at your hotel in Naples and drive you to Pompei where you will meet your English speaking guide.
Once in Pompei you will visit the archeological site, the houses where people used to live and the restaurants where they gathered, in this extremely lively city loved by the Romans.
