One of the best Italian Pastas, Gragnano Pasta, is produced on the hills near Sorrento, using the same making process that was used over 200 years ago. The result is a delicious pasta with a completely different taste and texture.
This will be an extraordinary day trip to Gragnano, a wonderful town situated on a strategic position on the mountains in
the middle of the Amalfi and Sorrento Gulfs, and that has 500 years
history in pasta making. In fact, in the 19th century there used to be over 300 pasta makers in this town that gave birth to the world known "maccheroni"! Here you will visit an ancient producer of pasta, where you will learn about all the secrets of traditional pasta making.
The trip continues to the volcano that symbolizes Naples, the Vesuvio, where you will visit a local wine producer and enjoy a great wine and cheese tasting and some more fresh organic food while enjoying astonishing views.

Tour host will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the Sorrento hills area where you will enjoy beautiful views.
You will reach Gragnano, a wonderful town situated on a strategic position on the mountains in the middle of the Amalfi and Sorrento Gulfs, and that has 500 years history in pasta making.
You will visit the town and one of the oldest pasta makers of Gragnano, located in the historical center where you will learn the secrets of pasta making.
After the visit you will have a typical lunch at a local restaurant... yes... you will taste local pasta!
After lunch the tour continues to the Vesuvio, the volcano that symbolizes Naples and that destroyed Pompei and Ercolano. The volcano however is not only synonym of destruction! Some of the best wines and cheeses of the area are actually produced here, thanks to the fertile soil and climate that give a special flavor to the grapes, vegetables and herbs growing there.
You will visit a local organic farm where you will enjoy a wine and cheese tasting, as well some organic food while enjoying spectacular views.
